Innovative Burley Patented Hitch System
While most bike trailers attach to the adult bike's seat post, the Piccole frame attaches to the included Burley Tailwind rack. This system connects the trailer directly over the adult bike's rear axle for stable in-line handling between the adult and child rider.
The hitch mount secures directly to the top of the Tailwind rack with a double locking mechanism for extra security. The hitch system features ball-bearing guided pivots to provide shimmy-free mounting. The hitch itself sits perpendicular to the ground, providing superior handling and stability overall.
